- Field trips
Our students go on many field trips during the academic year. Depending on the age level, all classes go on out of school excursions, educational and informative field trips. Grade 1 recently went to Hovensa Oil Refinery and had a blast! The kindergartners went to the radio station, K-4 went to Fredriksted. Our students have been all over the island; the museum, the beaches, the distilleries. They have seen it all!
- Sports Day
Our Annual Sports Day is held on the last Friday of May each year, at the Canegata Ball Park in Christiansted. It is a day of fun for the entire school, students and teachers alike! We play lots of different games, conduct various sports events, have inter class competitions and give out awards to the winners and participants! Please view some of the pictures from our recent Sports Day Celebrations in our online picture gallery.
- Awards Day
This year’s Awards Day will be held on June 8th for the kindergartners and on June 14th for Grades 1- 6. This is a day when each child is acknowledged for his/her achievements, contributions and efforts in the different subject areas. We are very generous yet fair with awarding each child. Parents are invited and it is truly a time for the students to shine.
- Spelling bee
We are proud of Jamie Harriett, a sixth grade student at St. Croix Christian Academy. Jamie placed third in the 2000 Territorial Spelling Bee. Way to go Jamie!
- Christmas Program
The Christmas Program is usually scheduled for the mid of December. Each class level performs an item; a skit, a song, a short drama or mine. The teachers have a very large role to play in the direction and production of every class’s program. Yet the students get a chance to be creative and express themselves. This time of the year and the final Christmas Program reinforces the school’s goals of inculcating the Christian spirit in every child
- A Beka Curriculum
The Academy uses the Abeka Curriculum for the instruction and development of its students of all ages. Please view a piece from the booklet of what the world renowned A Beka curriculum offers to your child.

Activities include arts and craft, sewing, cooking, developmental games and community service work.
- Steel Pan
The St. Croix Christian Academy Steel Orchestra was founded in 1996 under the direction and guidance of Mr. Eslie Williams. The Steel Orchestra services to enhance the after-school program of the Academy. It also serves to stimulate good behavior and academic excellence among the students. The membership constitutes students from grade three (3) to grade six (6) that have an interest in Steel Pan Music. The dynamics of the band change every year, when our sixth-graders graduate and leave the Academy. So hats off to Mr. Williams, for doing such a wonderful job with the new students he enrolls and trains every year!
